Me and the Writing Process

The hardest part of writing a memoir for me would have to be the memory part. I have so many memories but finding the right one that I really learned from was a challenge. The easiest would just be describing the memory. I find that im pretty creative with my writing. The memoir type of witing was fun, I did get a little sad going back with the memory I chose, but I enjoyed it. The free writing is fun as well, I enjoy seeing what I can come up with in a short time. I have always been pretty good at writing. My sister has me profread all of her college english assignments. I have a very strong imagination, and I know it might take some time, but I hope to write a book someday. For now, I think I need to challenge my skills just to see what I can do and what I can improve.

My View of SOPA and PIPA

SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Protect IP Act) are the most ridiculous bills ever passed though congress. The fact that they have made it this far proves that they are being pushed by government lobbyist for the entertainment industries. Even the Obama administration has voiced its disapproval. In their current states SOPA and PIPA would give big businesses way more power than just fighting online piracy. Hundreds of new businesses that are starting online could be shut down. The entertainment industry has the potential to make billions if these bills pass. Americans spend hours on the internet dayly, and we could soon be forced to pay for every drop of entertainment we get. I have noticed many websites protesting these acts. I first noticed yesterday when I went on Google.com and the logo was blacked out. Most people do not realize that this could change the everyday news and the information we are fed. I strongly disagree with censorship, and I disagree with these acts. That is my view of SOPA and PIPA.
